I'm back! From a whirlwind trip to Istanbul, Kayseri, Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Hierapolis, Ephesus, Selcuk, Kusadasi, and Izmir.
I'm still quite overwhelmed, so it'll be a while before I can actually get down to writing about the trip coherently.
Oh, and Nadal won the Monte Carlo Open! Hoorayyyy! For the fourth consecutive time!
The Empress is very pleased indeed.

You lucky one! Tell me, is Pamukkale really as good as it looks in the pictures?
I've been meaning to take the missus to Turkey where they bung aunts (or is it odalisques) into the Bosphorus
Yes indeed! It's absolutely amazing. (And I'm not very good at taking pictures, I just get too overwhelmed gaping at the beauty of it all!)_
Oh that's a very good idea.. I'm sure your m. would love it :)
PS: If they bunged Aunt Agatha into the B., would she holler for Macintosh?
I would not put it past Mrs. Spencer Gregson to attempt the action suggested by you, sir, said Jeeves.
I say, Jeeves, would there be any chance of getting young Empress of Blandings to turn off the word verification.
I doubt it very much sir, but I will give the matter my keenest attention
The Empress hovered in front of the screen, letting "I dare not" wait upon "I would".
Mr Fink-Nottle, in a state of considerable inebriation induced by spiked orange juice, bounced a tennis ball off her, and she squealed and trod on the cowering Word Verification scheme, giving it a cauliflower ear and rendering it unsuitable for further employment.
HaHaHa! The Empress rocks! You should post more often, ma'am!
Thank you, kind sir :-D. But I'm usually so caught up reading all the good stuff you and other awesome bloggers write, I end up not updating my own blog!
ur back :) is the tour a part of ya work?
Hi ,
I was reading ur blog posts and found some of them to be wow.. u write well.. Why don't you popularize it more.. ur posts on ur blog ‘La maison de Blandings’ took my particular attention as some of them are interesting topics of mine too;
BTW I help out some ex-IIMA guys who with another batch mate run www.rambhai.com where you can post links to your most loved blog-posts. Rambhai was the chaiwala at IIMA and it is a site where users can themselves share links to blog posts etc and other can find and vote on them. The best make it to the homepage!
This way you can reach out to rambhai readers some of whom could become your ardent fans.. who knows.. :)
Cheers,
Included a link to your blog on my culinary one. Can you guess who I am? :)
I apologize for the delay in responding back. I was delighted to see a comment from the empress herself! ;) BTW, you have a fan here of your writing style. Thanks for your nice compliments too. I am waiting to see if the blogosphere forces us to stay connected better. :)
